Weekly Dispatch w/e 28th July

My Weekly Dispatch

Time to catch up on what's been happening this past week, and see what's coming up.

Hello Reader, my vacation is over and I'm getting ready to go back to work tomorrow. I'll actually be glad as I've spent part of the last week being ill with a stomach bug. Oh, the timing! Still, at least I didn't have to have any sick days.

I've also spent time with my Puds, which was wonderful. We've been shopping, we've been on walks, and best of all, we've just spent time together. What a brilliant gift that was. 💙

So, what has happened since last we spoke? Let me tell you...

Feathers and Foxes is ready!

I've spent my vacation making sure everything is ready. The only thing I'm not sure about is using Draft2Digital - simply because I've never used it before. But Feathers and Foxes is now available on Amazon as a pre-order for the ebook, paperback, and hardcover, as well as going wide to B&N, Kobo, Kobo Plus, and Smashwords, to name a few.💙

Spider-Man: Far From Home

It was a new-to-me film last night for #FamilyMovieNight, even though both Puds have already seen it. They are also the ones who chose it, so I thought it might be good. And it was. I thought Tom Holland played the role perfectly as a teenager who just wants to go on a school trip with his friends and the girl he likes while feeling the grief and loss of his mentor.

Although the Puds did have to explain to me why he ran out of webs!!! I didn't get that part at all. 😆

Thoroughly enjoyable and I now want to watch the third in the Home series.

George Peabody Library, Baltimore, USA

Part of Johns Hopkins University, this austere, five-story library holds 300,000 volumes. Though it's technically part of the college, any member of the public in Baltimore is free to use the library, since its namesake, George Peabody, was a famous philanthropist. The library is also located near the Baltimore Washington Monument (not to be confused with the Washington Monument on the National Mall) in the Mount Vernon-Belvedere neighbourhood.

I saw this on Facebook this week and it made me chuckle, so I wanted to share it here. Yes, I know it's bad, but it raised a smile when I was feeling very sorry for myself! 😁

What are you up to? Do you have any special plans or events coming up? Let me know if you fancy sharing, and AUTHORS, that includes you!

If you want daily updates, don't forget to join my FB group - Morgan's Musings.

Don't forget to check the book below - another new release from the #FaRo Authors! Until next week...

Take care and have fun! 💙

Prince Peregrine couldn’t be happier to be kidnapped by pirates.

Peregrine wasn’t cut out for the restrictive life of a nobleman – he's hungry for adventure, prone to duelling, and his family refuse to believe he's any kind of man at all. Despite his royal origins, he has more in common with the outcasts and rebels aboard the Cygnus that anyone onshore.

He just needs to convince the captain of that before his ransom's paid.

Captain Alastar Macdara knows better than to trust an English prince. He has his hands full keeping his ragged crew together, and the last thing he needs is to be burdened with some foppish dandy—however charming. This particular hostage is more trouble than Alastar planned for: used to getting his own way, as stubborn as Alastar and not afraid to tell him when he’s wrong. But Alastar knows a thing or two about being an outcast, and his honourable streak refuses to let him send Peregrine back to a life of misery.

The ransom might be off, but that doesn’t mean Peregrine is part of the crew. Now he must prove he’s courageous and quick-witted enough to earn his place on the Cygnus before Alastar dumps him at the next safe harbour.

It won't be easy for Peregrine to prove himself amidst the many dangers of life at sea: navy patrols, sea serpents—and the grim, handsome Alastar. The more time they spend together the more he fears he’s falling for his captain, and honourable or not … a pirate is a pirate.

Can they chart a course to being together, or will Alastar’s secrets and Peregrine’s reckless drive to prove himself steer the Cygnus into perilous waters?

Peregrine Seas is a swashbuckling m/m romance between a merman pirate and a runaway prince, full of queer joy and perfect for fans of Our Flag Means Death.

My Weekly Dispatch Time to catch up on what's been happening this past week, and see what's coming up. Hello Reader. How's life been treating you? I did something today I haven't done in many a year and went to church. It's all down to Little Pud exploring her options and me supporting her however I can. After a major run-around, I'm off to the opticians on Tuesday to order my new glasses. I'm hoping that within 10 days or so, I'll be able to see again and therefore start Macsen's story. Keep...

My Weekly Dispatch Time to catch up on what's been happening this past week, and see what's coming up. Hello Reader, sorry I missed last week! Remember that stomach bug I told you about? Yeah, well, it turned out to be a GERD flare-up, not a bug, and it laid me low all weekend. I can't really say I enjoyed my lazy weekend, what with feeling like death warmed up and then having all the chores I usually do at the weekend waiting for me on Monday! It's calmed down a little now, although it's...
