Weekly Dispatch w/e 30th June

My Weekly Dispatch

Time to catch up on what's been happening this past week, and see what's coming up.

Hello Reader, I've still got my cough - 4 weeks now! Not that I'm counting or anything.

My fourth week of the Wales Coast Path had me walking through the Trefor Sea Stacks, Fishguard, and Strumble Head Lighthouse. I'm currently heading to Pembroke and am at 53% of my journey. You know, it's a little addictive - in a good way! 💙

So, what has happened since last we spoke? Let me tell you...

I'm working on the final edits of Terrwyn and Sulien's story and am still hopeful for a July release. ARCs will be available very soon, so keep an eye out for an extra email that will head your way very soon. 💙

UEFA EURO 2024

It was #FamilyMovieNight last night, but we had visited friends during the day and the Puds were already watching one by the time we got home, so I put on the Germany vs. Denmark match.

It was a great game - a strict but fair ref (I thought they were as rare as unicorns!), 3 goals disallowed, play suspended for 30 minutes due to adverse weather, and talented players from beginning to end. I still prefer rugby but thoroughly enjoyed this match. Well done to both teams.

Strahov Monastery Library, Prague

Although the monastery dates back to the 12th century, this beautiful library (complete with an ornate, stucco ceiling of Biblical artwork) was built in 1679. On top of being home to several thousand volumes of books, it's also a splendid art gallery that is certainly a must-see for anyone visiting Prague.

What are you up to? Do you have any special plans or events coming up? Let me know if you fancy sharing.

If you want daily updates, don't forget to join my FB group - Morgan's Musings.

Don't forget to check the book below - another new release from the #FaRo Authors! Until next week...

Take care and have fun! 💙

I was born to be their redemption.
Instead, I will become their destruction.

I liberated Valarian, only to watch my kingdom fall into ruin.

An ancient, evil monster was ravaging our realm, rotting our forests and streams and he wouldn’t stop until all the Fae—including me and my bonded warriors—were dead, too.

To save my people, I had to fight.

War meant a short, bloody future with my beloved males, because our foes were the legendary Old Gods. Vicious. Unstoppable. Unkillable. But with the world on the brink of ruination, a sacrifice must be made, and I couldn’t ask anyone else to pay the ultimate price.

That cost was mine to bear, even if I spent every last drop of my stolen power and my blood keeping them safe. Because that’s what queens did. They sacrificed for their people.

But if I was going down, I’d make sure to drag the Old Gods into the Pit along with me.

My Monthly Dispatch Time to catch up on what's been happening this past month, and see what's coming up. Hello Reader. How's life been treating you? As you may have seen or noticed, I've changed my newsletters from weekly to monthly. After doing a poll in Morgan's Musings, it was decided to do one at the beginning of the month... so here we are. 💙 So, what has happened since last we spoke? Let me tell you... Feathers and Foxes is going along nicely, with a few reviews coming in. It's also on...

My Weekly Dispatch Time to catch up on what's been happening this past week, and see what's coming up. Hello Reader. How's life been treating you? I did something today I haven't done in many a year and went to church. It's all down to Little Pud exploring her options and me supporting her however I can. After a major run-around, I'm off to the opticians on Tuesday to order my new glasses. I'm hoping that within 10 days or so, I'll be able to see again and therefore start Macsen's story. Keep...

My Weekly Dispatch Time to catch up on what's been happening this past week, and see what's coming up. Hello Reader, sorry I missed last week! Remember that stomach bug I told you about? Yeah, well, it turned out to be a GERD flare-up, not a bug, and it laid me low all weekend. I can't really say I enjoyed my lazy weekend, what with feeling like death warmed up and then having all the chores I usually do at the weekend waiting for me on Monday! It's calmed down a little now, although it's...
