My Weekly Dispatch

Time to catch up on what's been happening this past week, and see what's coming up.

Hello Reader, I've still got my cough - 5 weeks now!

My fifth week of the Wales Coast Path had me reaching Pembroke and reaching the 60% marker of my journey. This seems to be a stretch without many photos etc, but it's still fun. 💙

So, what has happened since last we spoke? Let me tell you...

The ARC form has gone out but it looks as though I will have to push the release date back a little. I was hoping to be on holiday from work for the next couple of weeks, so I could catch up and get everything set up. Unfortunately, too many people are already off so it's a no-go. I'd sooner push the date back than release something half-cocked. I hope you can forgive me!

Please click on the button below if you would like to sign up for an ARC.💙

The Idea of You

#FamilyMovieNight was one I've been wanting to watch as I do love Nicholas Galitzine. I liked him and his character but, although I love Anne Hathaway, her character did nothing but annoy me.

I'm glad I've seen it, but I don't think it's one I'll be watching again. If I want a Nicholas fix, I'll probably put on Cinderella or Red, White, and Royal Blue.

Library of Celsus, Turkey

This week's library comes from a reader, who has visited there this week.

The Library of Celsus is an ancient Roman building in Ephesus, Anatolia, today located near the modern town of Selçuk, Turkey. The building was commissioned in the years 110s CE by a consul of the Roman Empire, Tiberius Julius Aquila Polemaeanus, as a funerary monument for his father, Tiberius Julius Celsus Polemaeanus, former proconsul of Asia, and was completed during the reign of the Roman Emperor Hadrian, sometime after Aquila's death.

Once upon a time, a prince’s obsession with me nearly destroyed the kingdom.

I knew that chalice was poisoned. I drank from it to escape a fate worse than death. Now, a century later, another prince’s kiss awakens me from my enchanted slumber. I'm told I have no choice but to become his queen. That's how the story always ends.

But my heart desires a man I can't touch. The knight who was there in the shadows, watching me. The curse isn’t yet fully broken.

I've lived this tale once before. This time, I choose a different ending. I want him. The hard-hearted knight whose kiss awakens me, body and soul. Who protects me from the monsters that follow me wherever I go. No matter what price I must pay—or what it costs him to awaken me in truth.

This scorching forbidden romance is a Sleeping Beauty retelling intended for mature audiences. For fans of Evie Marceau, Scarlett St. Clair, and Olivia Wildenstein, the Awakened series is a spellbinding fantasy romance collection for spicy romantasy readers

After doing a poll in Morgan's Musings, it was decided to do one at the beginning of the month... so here we are. 💙 So, what has happened since last we spoke? Let me tell you... My Weekly Dispatch Time to catch up on what's been happening this past week, and see what's coming up. Hello Reader. How's life been treating you? I did something today I haven't done in many a year and went to church. It's all down to Little Pud exploring her options and me supporting her however I can. After a major run-around, I'm off to the opticians on Tuesday to order my new glasses. I'm hoping that within 10 days or so, I'll be able to see again and therefore start Macsen's story. Keep...

My Weekly Dispatch Time to catch up on what's been happening this past week, and see what's coming up. Hello Reader, sorry I missed last week! Remember that stomach bug I told you about? Yeah, well, it turned out to be a GERD flare-up, not a bug, and it laid me low all weekend. I can't really say I enjoyed my lazy weekend, what with feeling like death warmed up and then having all the chores I usually do at the weekend waiting for me on Monday! It's calmed down a little now, although it's...
